Mini Split Sizing Calculator (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a free mini split sizing tool at minisplitsizingcalculator.com, owned and operated by Zone Air. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the calculator, read our articles, request a sizing report or contact us, and what we do with it.
This site doesn’t sell anything and doesn’t take payments. When the calculator suggests systems, those links take you to zone-air.com, and anything you do there is covered by the Zone Air Privacy Policy.
We use what we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We don’t share your mobile number or text message opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.
If you request a sizing report, we’ll email it to you. We may also follow up with emails about choosing, buying and installing a mini split. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops those emails for good. Our emails may contain small images (“pixels”) and tracked links that tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. You can limit this by turning off automatic image loading in your email app.
Entering your phone number doesn’t sign you up for texts. We only send marketing texts if you check the unchecked text message box on the report form. Texts are sent by Zone Air. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent isn’t a condition of purchase. The full program terms are in Zone Air’s Text Message Terms, and its Privacy Policy explains how text message data is handled.
We keep records of your consent and opt-out choices for as long as we need them to honor your choices and to show we follow the law (such as the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act). If you unsubscribe or opt out, we keep your email address or phone number on a suppression list so that we don’t contact you again.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site: which pages they read, where they came from, how far they scroll, which links they click and whether they use the calculator. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects information like your IP address, browser and device details. Google processes it under the Google Privacy Policy; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We’ve set Google Analytics up for measurement only. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, it isn’t linked to any advertising account, and we don’t send it your name, email address or phone number. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cloudflare, which hosts this site, also counts page views and measures page speed with its Web Analytics tool. It doesn’t use cookies or local storage and doesn’t track you across sites. It’s covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
This site doesn’t run advertising or retargeting tags, such as Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft or Reddit pixels. Zone Air’s own website does use advertising tags, so if you follow a link to zone-air.com, the Zone Air Privacy Policy applies there.
Each page view is also recorded in our own log: the page, the referring site, any campaign details in the link, your IP address, country, browser, and the random visitor ID kept in your browser’s local storage. We use this log for basic site statistics and to spot spam and automated traffic. We don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t sell it.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which can see your IP address.
You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings, which also resets the visitor ID described above. If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it as an opt-out: our visit log stops recording your IP address, browser details and visitor ID, and report requests are saved without identifiers that link them to your browsing.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access, correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We don’t sell personal information, and because this site runs no advertising tags, we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This site isn’t directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think we’ve collected information from a child, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
